Our rates are lower than other law firms with the same standard of quality, because of four decisions that we made to reduce overhead expenses:
We avoid renting fashionable offices
Only lawyers , no personal assistants
Basics, no leasing luxurious cars.
We create content instead of advertising
The reality is that most often, we interact with our clients by email because they live in different cities or countries. While beautiful conference rooms and fancy cars are nice to have, we don’t think it delivers any direct value to our clients. Let’s be honest –if your lawyer is driving a Jaguar, it’s because your fees are paying for it.
Instead of investing in stuff, we invest in new technology to help us serve our clients better and in traveling to be close to our cases and clients.
In alingment with North American standards we charge fees in three ways:
a) Hourly, b) Fixed and c) Contingency Fees
We recommend hourly fees when the lenght of the case is not yet clear, for example when we are conducting an pre-assessment of the case.
Fixed fees are recommended for standard cases, such as permit applications.
When the client has a fixed budget we can work on a combination of fixed and contingency fees.

As you can see in the table in our pricing table above, trials are considerably cheaper in Mexico than in the U.S. or Canada, because of that, there are many trials and they take 12-18 months on average. Trials take longer in Mexico and the U.S. or Canada because there are fewer judges in Mexico per capita.
